Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

We have decided to move to an every other week schedule from now until the end of the year. We’ve been struggling to get back to once a week on time comics with everything that’s been going on, between one or both of us on overtime, the season for our nonprofit ramping up, and general brain fatigue.  Because, you know, 2020.

There will be a comic this coming Wednesday (9/30) and then every other week after that, with filler during November as per usual.

It's chartreuse that's yellow green

comic!  I thought for a long time that puce was a yellowish or greenish color, but it’s actually a reddish brown.

I mean, on one hand, this feels like an obvious bluff. On the other hand, it kind of makes sense when you think about it – after all, in every reality possiblyevil!Val visited Val was some flavor of good-two-shoes.

When I read the first two frames all I can think of is “she’s forgotten the safeword.” 🙂

I thought puce was somewhere more in the dark purplish spectrum, but hey in certain light conditions, burgundy looks brown, so I guess the perception goes both ways.
