  First of all, she’s trying to give him the benefit of the doubt by not immediately going to LEO, but instead discussing it with a trusted adult. Progress!

  Second, she’s clearly indicating she wants to be able to trust Make in spite of her instincts and experiences because she might think rehabilitation is possible. More progress!

  She’ll say you can’t. Breaker won’t trust maker. She might even break his design that he works hard on for his dad, making him not trust her anymore, and making Breaker come crying back to Mack. No idea if that will make her take back Issaru, especially since I’m still feeling like part of the reason it hit her so hard was because other Mack told her not to.

  Looking back over the last couple of pages, it suddenly struck me. “Making” and “Breaking” is the basis for these two’s relationship. what if this is a (clumsy) atempt at flirting…

  There’s no need to actually build the thing and causes property damage in a battle for him to design it and for her to find it’s flaws…
