    If anything this shows that Vals gotten way too used to carrying illumina in her career.For a competent hero street level crime like this should be a snap(as is shown).Still maybe Val will get the chance to do something when a superpowered criminal turns up,Assuming that theyre tough enough not to get Saitama’d by Shiver that is or at least has minions for her to play with n.n.

    Yknow Val should really convince Illumina to apply for her getting partner status(Though this would involve Val doing the paperwork for illumina-preferably with crayon and a ton of misspellings so noone gets suspicious about who filled in the forms X3).

    But really, is it just me or are they doing just really boring tasks? I mean, Shiver is taking on small crimes, of course Val isn’t needed there. I get the feeling either the city is experiencing a low in villains, or Shiver is just taking very small crimes to solve and not trying to do anything special.

    I think most heroes who habitually work with sidekicks would delegate minor criminals like the ATM bandit to their sidekick while they continue patrolling for actually threatening situations.

    Oh crap, I just thought of something. If Mr. Hero is this competent, and judging by his first meeting with Val he doesn’t seem to switch off, what happens when he finds out that his sidekick’s boyfriend is a henchman?

    I don’t get it. He didn’t want to help when a woman started screaming because he figured the police would get it. Now he’s involving himself in a petty misdemeanor? He must be soooooo bored. It certainly seems Val is. I’m also still wondering what he did or whom he annoyed to get him busted down to patrolling the beat in a small town.

    It was the car alarm he was ignoring. The woman’s cry for HELP did get him involved.
    But, yeah, these are misdemeanor size crimes – broken windows and coin theft aren’t something you see a lot of supers diving to deal with…
