Sidekick Girl

Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

We have decided to move to an every other week schedule from now until the end of the year. We’ve been struggling to get back to once a week on time comics with everything that’s been going on, between one or both of us on overtime, the season for our nonprofit ramping up, and general brain fatigue.  Because, you know, 2020.

There will be a comic this coming Wednesday (9/30) and then every other week after that, with filler during November as per usual.

Is her hair getting bigger?

You ever just KNOW that you’re gonna get called in to work?

Is Val using the day shift thing as an excuse to get far from Esper as possible?

That and i guess Isauro hasn’t been telling villain agency he’s in a relationship with a sidekick.

I don’t think so, I’m actually more inclined towards she’s jonesing for a fight here, but knows weird sounds probably means she needs to fight elsewhere.

I’m guessing Isauro is going to be brought to heel by the villains. He’s probably tread to close to what they’d consider unacceptable behavior in one of their assets and they’ve sent Esper to remind him that they actually can make his life worse than it is already.

Small tremor that startles people? Working as a roadside dispatcher, I can tell you *everybody* in the city is about to call for some sorta hero or help. Spilled drinks, cats startled into the corner of the laundry room, fender benders at traffic lights… *facepalm*

Kudos to Val for not starting the incident, at least. That’s heroic behavior.
