You have failed your disguise roll! YOU LOSE A POINT OF HONOR! REMOVE A FINGER IMMEDIATELY!

  • Lemeres on May 29, 2014 at 2:17 AM

…wouldn’t that cause a -1 to all future disguise rolls?

Okay, all together now, people: “Called it!”

  • Dark Rose on May 28, 2014 at 9:43 PM

I haven’t been able to see the new site yet. I see the comments bar, no comic, and just a blue border. So, whatever looks so pretty, not everyone has access to it.

Try Ctrl+F5 to do a full refresh (that will clear your cache for the page and load everything fresh).

Thanks for the advice! Still nothing. I see the blue border, no pictures or adds (I’ve turned off addblocker, if this is relevant), and the white box where comments go. I can see the comments, but the picture won’t load more than just a few rows of pixels at the top.

I hope I can resolve this. I love this comic.

    Hey Paul,

I found a couple of issues needed for visibility – couple of solutions may be needed, so check into these and see if they help at all:

-If you are using Chrome, make sure you have the most recent version / updates.

-Make sure you have the most current installation of Java.

-If you are using Windows XP, ensure you have Cleartype turned on.

Dave – what you are running into may be either a version for your OS issue (not entirely likely), or the website itself needs to have a reassessment of the plugins used. WordPress ordinarily is supposed to format for mobile browsing, but not all plugins are adaptable or updated for mobile viewing, or depending on the setup it may be a website issues with not having a compatibility plugin installed. If you are using Safari you may be stuck, but if you download the Chrome app, you should be able to look under the viewing settings and have it “Request Desktop Site”.

There are also some in-progress issues with WordPress that can prevent visibility – this has happened with every new build of WP and will continue – they are working on it. I am sorry if none of these solutions help immediately, but rest assured they are temporary.

Your browser may not have the font, or options for the used fonts turned on. Under your settings you should be able to direct it to automatically assign a font.

Does not show up correctly on mobile (atleast on my iphone) i cant see the left 20% or so of the page and I can’t zoom out to see it either

Like the new look, and the underlying cleanup thus accomplished. Works fine for me with both Firefox and Chrome under Linux (Zenwalk 7.4 distribution), WITH NoScript and Scriptsafe extensions (respectively) currently blocking the site! Considering this page has been hacked twice now, I’m leaving it that way until further notice!

@Paul, it may be ISP or www backbone issues? The pix not loading completely is something that happens a lot, on many different sites. Certain sites (like The Gutters webcomic) seem to be more prone to it. Keep trying.

Luminas face looks ghastly in this, distorted and streched and swolen

Damn, a girl can’t even use fishnet nowadays without people thinking you are a criminal. IS THAT WHERE OUR SOCIETY HAS FALLEN TO? FREE THE FISHNET!
