Have you heard about the comic Ultra Seven Days?
It’s sort of a slice of life story about Pearl Penalosa, a Latina superhero in Spring City and two superhero friends as they deal with celebrity and seek happy love lives after receiving predictions from a fortune teller.
There was also a minor subplot about a flaming person causing havoc in the city. Turns out it was a kid who just couldn’t control his power.
In the end they kill the kid and you hear nothing more about it.
I like this ending more.

Aaron, that sounds kinda like the JLU episode where Batman was tasked with killing Ace.

Read ultra years ago was good
Justice league gods and monsters had a short similar with their superman
