    Hmm… Either they’re at the bar, so she feels that hint is enough that he ought to be able to remember that her age is 22.
    Oooor, because they’re at the bar, she expects him to remember to SAY out loud that she is “22”.

    Hmm. I took it at face value the first time I read it, but now I wonder. Perhaps the author would like to weigh in?
