Sidekick Girl

Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

You’ve probably noticed that updates have been a bit sporadic lately.  This is likely to continue for a while.  The combination of new work hours and our busy time of year means that while we’re still going to shoot for Wednesdays, it might wind up being Thursdays sometimes.  On the plus side, we’re going to try to avoid our yearly November break, because we’re crazy people, and we don’t want to pause this very important arc.  We might do a short break once it wraps up.We’ll keep you updated, and thanks for your patience.

ski-doosh!

The thing I like best about doing the Dark or Vigilante comics is that the look of the shadows and lights is so flowy and fluid that it can look different every time.

Oh this is a magnificent look, the crumpled metal exterior is just delightful. I dont think i’ve seen it work so well before.

Nice sense of ‘I’m tough, so tough you don’t even know it’ in the pose also.

I have to admit, I keep expecting Dark to fail and Sidekick Girl to have to save the day and prove she’s not “merely” a sidekick.

But, for all her attitude… Damn. Dark can kick some butt.

It’s not bragging if you can do it this casually.
Bitch-ray Val clearly has some very serious chops.
Kinda sucks to be SKG and sitting on the sidelines for this.

Also, yeah, that’s some sweet impact visuals.
