Sidekick Girl

Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

We have decided to move to an every other week schedule from now until the end of the year. We’ve been struggling to get back to once a week on time comics with everything that’s been going on, between one or both of us on overtime, the season for our nonprofit ramping up, and general brain fatigue.  Because, you know, 2020.

There will be a comic this coming Wednesday (9/30) and then every other week after that, with filler during November as per usual.

Wait, so NOW we're going to monologue? really?

Comic for you!

Kinda wanna cut my hair like Dark’s now.

Pretty sure it would look terrible on me.

Aw, well at least it looks terrible on most people, so you aren’t alone lol

I’m pretty sure that NO ONE would actually look good with hair hacked off by a knife, so I think you’re ok. Those asymmetrical cuts can look pretty keen depending on hair texture and face shape, though.

Hahaha, he seriously didn’t realize that making himself into a huge enough threat would scare them into waking her up just to kick his ass?

I suspect it’s more like he figured that by taking over the temple and killing off her team, there would be no one to wake her up at all and he could get at her cryo tube thing. Which, really, is not super creative. Afterall, it was obvious enough that Dark!Val and the Light figured it would happen eventually and planned a failsafe to get a team through her back door.

Supervillains do underestimate how genre savvy really old heroes can be.
