Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

1) We will be speaking at Penguicon April 28-30. ( There are lots of nifty talks, including our Creating Webcomics series, which should be running Saturday from 11-2. If you're thinking of going, pop over to the forum thread and we can meet up!

2) I finally figured out what was wrong with the store and fixed it, so if you've been looking for merch, it should be ready to go. If you are going to the con and want merch, DON'T order it, just email us and we'll bring it to save on shipping.

to check out all the cool anniversary stuff!

Interesting name choices – do we get to see Alfa, Charlie, Delta, Golf, Hotel, India & Juliett? 😛

I have to say, those are some junky robots. Getting taken out with a wooden bat? Tsk tsk, you random mechanist.

      It’s corked….with titanium.

Never forget, Ace managed to take out a Dalek with a bat! It depends on how skillfully you use the bat!

      • Zodo says:

Yes, but Ace’s bat was supercharged by the Hand of Omega. I suspect Mr. Bat isn’t that good.

And if it’s corked, I would expect that it would be with Tungsten or Lead. Titanium is way too light to make the bat more effective.

Sooo… yeah I just read your whole archive in one afternoon. This is awesome! 😀

Kilo seems to have a power like Marvel’s Absorbing man, which makes me wonder why no one at Marvel thought to give him a swatch belt all these years. Then again, he’s not the smartest tool in the shed.

    Love SG’s swing here.

I was thinking “Metalhead” when I saw him change. (X-men 2099. He wore bracelets with his most common transmutes.)
