Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

We have decided to move to an every other week schedule from now until the end of the year. We’ve been struggling to get back to once a week on time comics with everything that’s been going on, between one or both of us on overtime, the season for our nonprofit ramping up, and general brain fatigue.  Because, you know, 2020.

There will be a comic this coming Wednesday (9/30) and then every other week after that, with filler during November as per usual.

Mac called it, she’s a hero too just undercover making it no reality in which she’d be a villain.

What is this periwinkle mean anyway?

It’s a shade of blue, or perhaps a flower.

Right. And she's terrible partial to the periwinkle blue, boys.

Periwinkle is also the official lightstick color of a kpop girl group that has to be the most underrated artists on the planet (by their own label as well, no less!) — f(x). Despite getting consistently decent album sales and a singular concert tour that was so well-received the promoters had to add a performance, the four f(x) members (Krystal, Luna, Victoria, Amber Liu) haven’t been provided a group comeback in three years, an eternity in the fast-moving kpop arena!

Code word to prove your identity of you time travel?

Except….who devises the codebook, and distributes it across the timelines so that all possible recipients will *know* what the words are and be able to verify anything?

(Gasp) oh my gosh, if she is undercover then she’d be Mr. Orange! Or part of an elaborate Leverage undercover role.

Or A-Team, she could knock out B.A. Baracus.

No more guessing for me, the creator’s of this comic are geniuses and know their craft.

On that note, look up “Lucky Number Slevin”, my last theory until this story arc is finished, this is possibly a Kansas City Shuffle if I ever saw one. Wahoo, I love this comic!

How do you kill a periwinkle?

Get it out of its shell.

    This is a trap.
