Wow, a set of bad guys who are smart about it? If they avoid being too flashy, they should be able to avoid conflict long enough to grab some goodies and run. And unlike real life, they can run further than the law can follow. Of course, being a superhero comic we can be sure that something will go wrong for them, but other than that they seem to have it figured out.

Val is careful and competent even in worlds where she’s a criminal.

So, who’s this world’s equivalent of the blonde woman? Seems like dimension-hopping would be a skill that showed up in her alternate, if there is one.

Ilumina, who (if memory tricks me not) in at least one version (the Light) might have the power to make people travel between alternate timelines?

THAT would be a weird but sensible inversion/twist, if alt-Val serves as an indicator.

Unless you posses the same skills and armor as Mindmistress…!

hmmm, I don’t find Murphy on the cast page, unless he’s one of those whose real name is not revealed. I wonder who he’ll turn out to be, and whether or not there will be hidden differences to trip up Our Villains?

Also, I wonder, six (or five) out of how many?

Boring, sad, lame…this from a woman who’s dressed like an accountant, sitting on a torn-up couch in a room with a boarded up window and an anorexic, cringing, silent woman staring at her. If this is living the high life, I think I’ll pass.

Life on a stakeout or a caper is always boring though. It’s the job, only the job, nothing but the job. These are a group of professionals with clear goals, even though the goals are a hidden one at the moment.

Now, once the groups goals have been achieved, then it’s back home to live the good life. A privately owned business to launder their I’ll gotten gains that they love to oversee day to day operations of. A chicken restaurant, car wash, nail salon, amusement park, a really nice bar, a resort on a beach. And as for lame, if you’re a villain with a well oiled machine of a crew as long as you take care of your physical/mental/emotional/spiritual health you can have any recreation that you can imagine. A private harem, a garage full of restored classic cars, a cordon bleu chef on 24 hour standby to help you explore the realm of culinary delights, the biggest DVD collection in existence, or simply the joy of making all your base belong to us. The limits are the personal limits of the imagination of the individual with a multiverse to plunder from.

  • Ragingagnostic on January 28, 2019 at 8:21 PM

Yet they’ve been to no less than SIX of these multiverses and still haven’t made enough to call it quits and go home?

So theory time. So all Vals have been ‘good guys’ so for and the shaved head Val looked right at the camera almost like she wanted to get caught. So maybe she’s a ‘good guy’ too and is under cover.
