Nope, not Dragaerans.. They mostly seem to be non-gender-specific people in dark grey. ^_^

I don’t think any of his windows have panes… but yeah, it’s an interesting thought.

That said, if the author and/or artists were Taltos fans, I don’t think they’d insert characters from a published series as more than a fun little cameo in the background.

I don’t know what that is, and I don’t know if Laura does or not. But the only time any character of anyone else’s has been in our comic is as a cameo of another webcomic that we had permission from the author to include, and were credited at the time.

We have never plagiarized other artists’ work for our comic, and we never would. We have enough of our own ideas; we don’t need to steal from others.

In that case,if Jenny Everywhere put in an appearance, you’d have to include this statement:

The character of Jenny Everywhere is available for use by anyone, with only one condition. This paragraph must be included in any publication involving Jenny Everywhere, in order that others may use this property as they wish. All rights reversed.

She didn’t. We gave that Crossoverlord project permission to use Val in one of their series. We never took part in it ourselves.

Well, if you’ve never read them, I highly recommend Steven Brust’s Khavren Romances (The Phoenix Guards, Five Hundred Years After, and The Viscount of Adrilankha (which in turn consists of The Paths of the Dead, The Lord of Castle Black, and Sethra Lavode)) if you like the style of Alexandre Dumas, and the Vlad Taltos novels (Jhereg, Taltos, Yendi, Teckla, etc) if you like fantasy noir. Assuming that you can spare the time from creating a webcomic. ^_^

The first girl out looks strung out. Being used for her powers?

  • T'Renn on October 24, 2018 at 5:57 AM

Or a side effect of using her powers, perhaps.

She looks anorexic, sickly and cold (although the latter two conditions could be symptoms of the former).

    I wonder if that’s a bathroom window.

Now that I think of it, this is almost the way Girl Genius begins!
