Sidekick Girl

Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

We have decided to move to an every other week schedule from now until the end of the year. We’ve been struggling to get back to once a week on time comics with everything that’s been going on, between one or both of us on overtime, the season for our nonprofit ramping up, and general brain fatigue.  Because, you know, 2020.

There will be a comic this coming Wednesday (9/30) and then every other week after that, with filler during November as per usual.

I sure hope everyone is a lot surprised, and a little bit "It was right there all along!"

So…that happened.

We’ve been planning this moment for a solid twelve years, guys. It’s made us feel big feelings. It’s hard to even describe.

I guess that explains his codename.

He handcuffed himself to that fence?!

Handcuffed himself to the fence, and left a blonde hair as a red herring clue.

Definitely smarter than the average henchman.

OK I guessed “someone who wants to be a hero but the system is keeping out” early on (since that was a theme early on) but never thought of anything close to this. Wow!

    Well, you weren’t WRONG. 😉

DAMN!!! Righteous!! I had hoped, but…very good work, Ladies. This was a good reveal.

Applause. That reveal is in character, appropriate, and I did not see it coming.

Am I the only one who really thought it was going to be Lumina’s brother??

So does that mean future Val is actually a doppel-daughter rather then the future version of this Val gone emo?

    Another World XXI and XXII

The Dark is from a different universe, not the future tho

My guess would be that when Isauro died, he somehow gifted his powers to Val.
