Sidekick Girl

Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

We have decided to move to an every other week schedule from now until the end of the year. We’ve been struggling to get back to once a week on time comics with everything that’s been going on, between one or both of us on overtime, the season for our nonprofit ramping up, and general brain fatigue.  Because, you know, 2020.

There will be a comic this coming Wednesday (9/30) and then every other week after that, with filler during November as per usual.

    I like how he’s mixed about this. On the one hand, a friend gets their ambitions realized… on the other now he’s down competent backup.

    @Sorain
    Oh, I’m sure she’s not going to be any less available for emergency rescues and villain-base insertions (unless, as a full-hero, she’s assigned a different territory). The internal conflict is that she’s living the dream that he’s stuck still fantasizing about. She moves ahead; he’s still stuck behind.
    Also, he may not see her as often in side-kick social gatherings, like the bar.
