Anti-villian? Is that a thing? I cannot picture him as her sidekick, but an antagonistic ally. Maybe if Val’s bf gets a full villiany he can be an anti villian and Make can be the anti villian sidekick/hench? That could be fun, esp if Val gets Hero lol.
What would an anti villian be? A villian determined to be the best but takes out competition more ruthlessly than doing evil or going after heros?

It’s possible that he could just become a toy maker, or a non-super engineer that builds things to make money. Or, he could take this seriously, become close with the mentor and the mentor is killed. He then becomes a vigilante to seek revenge. He captures the killer and before he kills them Break shows up and convinces him to stop before he goes to far. He breaks down and cries while she holds him. They turn the killer in and Make is offered a blue card due to his capturing a murderer. He is conflicted and Break takes his hand he realizes that he cares for her and wants to be with her and he accepts. They become partners and a couple.

For Gilly up there: an anti-hero in comics is a person that pursues heroic goals, but in a manner that looks fairly villainous (obviously, I’m summarizing here). So I guess an anti-villain would be someone… pursuing a villainous goal, but in a noble and heroic manner? I’m not sure how that would work, but there you go. Maybe something like ‘I must seize control of the Earth so that by my brilliance I can make it a perfect utopia’.
