First, we cried. Then we had a party! Three days later and I can still hardly believe it. This is our tribute to our joy for all of our loved ones whose rights are finally being recognized. Wedding dates have been set, engagements have happened, existing marriages recognized, and a dear friend is now officially her son’s mother. And I’m already making at least one cake. I’ve gotta stop before I cry some more.
Now, TECHNICALLY, this is not cannon. In the comic, Ro and Joh have been married for years, but we’re not gonna worry about that for now. Just bask in the happiness.
Regular comic for this week will be up on Friday.

They’re re-affirming their vows. Kind of an anniversary gift for each other.
Duh.

I love that Mark is part of an order that not only kicks ass but also believes in marriage equality.
The nice thing about creating your own world is that you can make it exactly how you want it. The idea of Mark not supporting loving commitments would never even occur to us.
Besides, in a world where vampires are A Thing, wolfsbane treats lycanthropy (instead of, you know, being highly toxic) and shed unicorn horns will cure most poisons, marriage equality is the easiest thing ever.
My sister got married today. I am so happy.
