That fits my memory of it. Isauro panicked and gave some lame excuse to run off when he learned the target was Val.

Isn’t that Isauro’s current villain, the one who hates beauty or was it that he wants all the beauty for himself. Anyway isn’t he supposed to be picking Isauro up?

Heh. The first time through, I read, “I sure hope mother’s plane landed alright.”
It made it a lot harder to figure out where he came from.

Wasn’t this the guy who had goo trap set up for Val? That led to the “daring rescue” that involved some groping of behinds? Though I believe the cover story was Isauro just happened to get caught in the same trap. And it’s going to be really awkward if I didn’t remember this character properly and just confused him with some other villain. But anyway, that’s my guess for the bonus game without looking it up. Clearly I have archive binged this comic too many times if I’m right.
