I’ve got some final thoughts on this arc, but I need to sort them in my mind a bit.
I guess you could say that she just put Shiver…
(Hold on, lemme find some sunglasses…)
Not bad, but try this. “Looks like Shiver’s on a one-way trip-” (puts on shades) “to the cooler.”
Shiver is getting time
To cool off
Part of me thinks that people like Val are assigned as sidekicks specifically as a way to deal with “heroes” like Shiver, because they’re interested in getting the job done right instead of in the fame of hero work. Without the sidekicks, the hero agency would probably crash and burn.
I think panel 2 is my favorite panel ever in the comic.
THAT… was a well-executed Rorschach Reversal. (Don’t bother looking for it on TV Tropes, I just came up with the phrase.) Kudos, Val.
Val is looking like a hero in the last panel. Love it!
What’s next for Val,maybe a debriefing session with Agent Grey…..?!?!?
You could say that Val knocked him…
Annnnnnnnd Im back,This was extremely cliche but admittedly satifying.Good thing that Shiver was literally so dumb he makes illumina look like Einstein.
So Bad Ass.
Damn, I bet he’ll get a cold reception from the home office.
Shiver just needs to chill…
He thought he was giving her the cold shoulder but Val knew she had to….
Freeze his assets.
-shakes head sadly-
All these puns are just leaving me cold.
Potentially the last chance to call him Ice-hole
As Judge Dredd would say, “it’s the Cube for you perp!”
The Ice Cube, that is.
Huh. All the cool puns were taken before I got here (OK, not quite *all*). Nice job, Val. Looking forward to Mack’s return.
The last time I saw this many ice puns was “Batman and Robin.”
I guess it’s that time Shiver.
*puts on Arnold voice*
Sidekick Girl is cool! Shiver is just out in the cold.
