Sidekick Girl

Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

Just in case anyone hadn't figured out that he's an asshole....

Comic at last!  Still sick, but can sit upright, and that’s all I need for coloring.

No wonder the West didn’t want him.
It’s almost funny how please Shiver is with himself in the first two panels.

    Yikes, hope you feel better!

Man, Shiver turned out to be a bit of a psycho. >>

    SOME people.

Who generally know that they need or want to hold their breath for a long time before doing so and thus have prepared.

There’s no evidence that this guy is one of the type who can hold his breath for a long time, and he definitely wasn’t prepared.

Am I the only one who looks at the last panel in the last page in the last page and thinks “Sub- zero:?

I think this gut perhaps has too many perfectly aligned bleached and capped teeth. Oh, hello Mr. Bat!

  • Aline1 on June 1, 2016 at 9:22 PM

Okay I think this guy is perhaps working for the wrong agency.

  • Black Rose on June 1, 2016 at 10:30 PM

Would you work with someone like Shiver????

  • Spliced on June 2, 2016 at 12:13 AM

Ten bucks Shiver and Sparkle (l believe that was Illumina’s old sidekick was named?) would hit it off

Yeah, what harm can a little air deprivation do to a person.
Let us ask our expert Eric Garner shall we? Oh, wait….

  • That Swedish Guy on June 3, 2016 at 11:40 AM

And that was meant for The Passing Critic, not Spliced.

Personally I like shiver,Sides what wrong with a little light air deprivation?Itll knock any fight out of knife hands when he gets defrosted in a couple of minutes ^^

…Not just that, I’d be very worried for his corneas. I know, I know, more immediate worries, but that guy just forced the guys eyes open and put ice on his eyes. This is all KINDS of body horror…

  • ReaderAt2046 on June 2, 2016 at 8:49 AM

Ok, anyone thinking that this guy might have been a red card who flipped agencies? Because there’s really no reason to cover this guy’s mouth and nose except to torture him, and that kind of sadism really fits a villain more than a hero.

I’m just waiting until we find out bird-mutant-guy’s holding a bag full of the worthless crap the creeped-out pawn-shop-guy wouldn’t take for free, and he’s just a schmuck who can’t get a job with his deformity & is too low on the powers totem-pole to be of any use in the hero/villain game.

  • David Johnston on June 3, 2016 at 8:44 PM

I wonder if that guy gets routinely beaten up by heroes and villains who think “this guy has powers and I never see him at the meetings so he must wear the other side’s jersey”.

  • Nightmask on June 5, 2016 at 7:40 AM

I imagine in his former city the trouble covering up his civil rights violations and behaving more like a villain got to the point they needed to ship him off to be someone else’s problem, although they really needed to stop worrying about the PR issues and just send him to jail where he belongs.
