What a month it was! Laura and I both set personal bests for words written and words written in a single day. Our region had a banner year for winners, and a grand time at all the events put on by our awesome team. And we’re FULL of ideas for the new year! Thanks to those of you who sent us good wishes, and congrats to all the winners among you! And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, nanowrimo.org is the place to start. 😉
An elemental small business owner with a passion for baked goods. An inked and pierced werewolf with commitment issues. They fight crime!
Rowan and Morgaine met in hero school. They were friends who began sort of dating when an evening of poor decision making led to Little Ro. Since then they’ve been in an on again, off again relationship as Mo raises their son.
Clearly, this is one of the happy times. Rowan loves his son and they have a good time together when he isn’t being an irresponsible jerk due to his own insecurities.
Fun fact: Rowan’s power is that he is a genetic specific metamorph. He can take the shape of any animal, as long as he has ever touched one of them, and it’s not smaller than a housecat. He always changes into the same animal, which is specific to him, and not necessarily exactly the same as the source animal. For example, his dog shape is a german shepherd, even though his source of dog DNA was a beagle. The wolf is his one of his favorite and most often used shapes, and he takes his code name from that.
