Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

This lovely crayon piece was done by Katy, who will receive a little prize in the mail sometime soon.  Well done, Katy!  I was especially impressed by two things: getting some really good color matching on skin/hair/clothes, and also how the foreground colors on the splash panel are deep and bold, bringing them forward, and the colors towards the back are softer and less contrasty, which pushes them to the back.

If you were working on a page and didn’t get it done, go ahead and send it in anyway!  We’ve still got three weeks of November to fill.

Looking pretty darn good!=).Hopefully Illumina wont need this level of protection now that shes got one of the most versatile powersets possible now….course me being a snarky git likes to think that Illumina somehow caused this WITH her new powers ^^

OK, I can tell that it’s crayon. I can see that it’s crayon. There’s nothing, absolutely nothing, that does not make me doubt that crayons were used for the colors here.

But holy cow, THAT’S DONE WITH CRAYONS?! *jaw dropped* I can’t believe what I’m seeing here! Well done!
