Meet the parents.

Fun fact:  Val’s parent’s are named after Erika’s mom and Laura’s dad.  BUT ALSO: Valerie was Erika’s maternal grandmother’s name, and Isauro was Laura’s paternal grandfather’s name.

It’s just the names, though.  Our parents don’t actually look like this.  Our grandparents did not look like Val and Ro.  Also, they did not have superpowers.
