Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

The real Moxie would be petrified.

Moxie likes to float!  Val also likes to float.

Now let’s see you maintain that coffee unspilled, Mack.

Moxie’s expression says he’s done this before and loves it.

Ooh, using her antigrav power on someone other than herself is definitely new. Nice one, Mac!

Now Val can have her coffee sitting on the ceiling!

Now this opens up possibilities. Mac could totally toss Val at antagonist. “Pain from above!”
Do this mean that Mac wouldn’t need a sidekick anymore. 🙁

I love the boob lift to go along with the hair lift in that fourth panel

Should Mack have Jedi inspired powers? For instance, being able to move heavy objects with just a thought or use mind control on people…

Mack:(waving hand) You don’t need to see her identification!

    Like that???

She’s not a telepath a telekenetic. She has gravity powers.

Also, she is not a jedi.

Since Kirin describes her as “a natural at physics and mathematics”, I doubt she really has a puny brain, just an unencouraged/undeveloped one.

  • The passing critic on February 9, 2017 at 9:34 AM

Sides if Mack had Jedi powers her puny brain would make her incapable of using them!lol. As is even with years of subconcious training Macks still a novice at best with gravity powers.I think itll be a long time before Val has to worry about finding a new hero to babysit even though gravity control with no official limits is a storybreaker power.

Though she might well be able to conjure a sustained, short range laser beam that could function as a lightsaber.

She’d need to levitate some sparkly powder into it to make it visible, but that actually seems like her style, now that I think about it.
