Sidekick Girl

Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

We have decided to move to an every other week schedule from now until the end of the year. We’ve been struggling to get back to once a week on time comics with everything that’s been going on, between one or both of us on overtime, the season for our nonprofit ramping up, and general brain fatigue.  Because, you know, 2020.

There will be a comic this coming Wednesday (9/30) and then every other week after that, with filler during November as per usual.

Nothing clever today. zzzz....

Hopefully we’ll get a flashback to Val’s high school days and didn’t those kids resemble the ones she encountered in that alternate reality future???

Woo! I also help out at a high school robotics team! ^_^ (for those of you who want to, look up FIRST robotics *shamelessly plugs*)

Neat! FLL is so awesome. I took part for 6 years before I grew too old and it definitely changed me for the better.

Ah the good old times. (I’m the guy in the orange t-shirt)

    Ah, robotics.
Didn’t have a club where I grew up, but I did have my Dad’s old Erector sets and a tub full of Legos.

Very convincing denial there, Val. I’m certain you’ve got them fooled for eternity. 😀

But talk about getting completely caught on the wrong foot.

You’re only “Sidekick Girl” when you’re on patrol, on the clock for hero work.
But getting into the philosophy of identity might be a bit too deep for those high school kids. That can wait until they’re in college.
