Saving the City: Sans-Spandex

1) We will be speaking at Penguicon April 28-30. ( There are lots of nifty talks, including our Creating Webcomics series, which should be running Saturday from 11-2. If you're thinking of going, pop over to the forum thread and we can meet up!

2) I finally figured out what was wrong with the store and fixed it, so if you've been looking for merch, it should be ready to go. If you are going to the con and want merch, DON'T order it, just email us and we'll bring it to save on shipping.

to check out all the cool anniversary stuff!

We had some hackery issues yesterday that we thought got resolved with a little cleanup and some security updates, but today those things were back.

This does NOT appear to be something that could hurt your computer.  It’s someone getting into the admin page and posting stuff.  Still, don’t click any links from the bad posts, because chances are they’re janky.

I’m going to delay this week’s comic until we’re pretty sure that this is fixed.  I don’t want you all to miss seeing it because it got buried in the garbage somehow.

Hopefully we can get this all sorted today and you’ll have your comic by tomorrow.

PS:  The comic is up on the facebook page to tide you over.

    Thanks for the warning.

You’re not the only webcomic I read who’s been attacked over the last half a year or so. One of which clearly with the intention of taking it down. Which is kinda strange, considering that that particular comic is mostly a fantasy tale without much of a political, religious or other possibly startling message at its core.

I hope you’ll get this resolved.

I saw the hacked pages before they were taken down. They appeared to be just spam, so this is probably an automated attack that targets any site using the same Content Management System.
