Why do I sense some sort of training montage is in store for the future?

I expected it to be Eye of the Tiger. Now I feel old…

  • David Johnston on March 11, 2013 at 5:09 PM

Ah, but the point is that THIS contender is training to the point where she can defeat _several_ butterflies in tug of war…

  • Ed Rhodes on March 12, 2013 at 12:46 PM

I was expecting the montage song from “Team America – World Police.”

  • Hitokiri Akins on March 6, 2013 at 4:53 PM

So long as Mack doesn’t decide to shatter every one in her hands before the big fight like the idiots from Turkish Star Wars did in their training montage, she’ll be fine.

  • Hitokiri Akins on March 6, 2013 at 4:54 PM

Bone in her hands. Dammit, I need to start checking what I am posting when I can’t edit it. 🙁

  • Teldon on March 6, 2013 at 6:24 PM

I was thinking more of this.

  • Jerden on March 6, 2013 at 3:58 PM

Aww, even she knows she’s terrible at the superhero business.
But yes, training montage! If you don’t like who you are, YOU BECOME BETTER!

  • CptNerd on March 6, 2013 at 5:41 PM

Yeah, “be all you can be.” What sucks is when you go through training and everything, and find out that “all you can be” really isn’t all that much.

    Woah, Angst Alert!

  • Dark Rose on March 7, 2013 at 7:14 AM

Will we learn more about Mack’s brother?

  • Potatohead on March 7, 2013 at 9:47 AM

Minor issue, but all of the bubbles are missing the pointy arrows that indicate who’s talking. It’s not hard to figure out, but ends up looking like they’re communicating telepathically.

if Mak would let Val work with her she could get good

and i get the feeling that could be the way things go from here

  • Ed Rhodes on March 12, 2013 at 12:48 PM

Yeah, you remember in the “body switch” sequence, Val had figured out ways to use Mack’s powers better than she did.

  • Doi on March 10, 2013 at 8:54 PM

Val does know Mak’s powers better than she does. We’ve seen how effective Mak’s powers can be, she just needs Val to show her how. 😀

  • ParanoidSpy on March 10, 2013 at 9:35 PM

Ouch. I don’t know if it’s better or worse that Illumina knows how bad at heroing she is.
